Senior Finance Officer (locals only)

Responsibilities:

  • Key responsibilities includes but is not limited to performing operational accounting tasks (cash management, AR & receipting, manual invoicing, inter-company transactions, AP & expense control, fixed assets control), consolidation of financial results for Manila and Cebu offices, local statutory compliance (supporting finance manager in audit activity, managing tax filings, license renewal), planning & analysis (budgeting, forecasting, cost reviews, P&L, business case recommendations)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting and Finance.

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • at least 4-6 years relevant experience in accounting and preferably with auditing experience

  • Experience in financial management and use of accounting software/database and excel spreadsheets

  • Knowledge in Philippines accounting standards, taxation and legal compliance

  • Experience in a multi-national company

Aspiring candidates must have:

  • Knowledge of Oracle / Hyperion systems

  • High level of accuracy in data entry and data integrity

  • Experience in the preparation of support documents for tax filing

  • Ability to manage internal and external customer relationships

  • High degree of taking initiative and ability to work independently

  • High level of analytical and problem solving skills

  • Desire to grow and undertake challenging tasks

  • Good organization and planning skills
