Position Purpose
IDP has completed the first phase of its digital transformation, which has directly contributed to the massive acceleration in the world’s leading Edu-Tech business, helping students fulfill their lifelong learning opportunities at the world’s top universities.
Our transformation journey is far from complete, and we have an exciting range of projects utilizing our latest generation SAP SaaS suite of CRM tools, SAFE Agile, AWS integration, microservices landscape, and our in-house development experts. IDP runs C4C, Hybris Commerce, and Hybris Marketing and has an exciting agenda to extend our innovation across the suite—and beyond. IDP also utilizes SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and a range of other best-of-breed solutions.

Strongly serve the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile and Scrum practices and values
Coach the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile and Scrum frameworks
Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Proven ability to function in a fast-moving and rapidly evolving environment
Build a safe and trusted environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Support and educate the Product Owner with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Handle end-to-end release process
Understand and coach or train fundamental principles (e.g., Story mapping, Estimation, flow, systems thinking, Lean, etc)
Support a wider organisational adoption of an agile mindset
Understand how to use metrics and data to drive improvements, such as OKR's, cycle time and cost of delay

Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Background
Minimum of 9 years of overall experience with Agile implementation and transformation for large clients
2 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master with Agile processes and tools is required; experience in Jira and Confluence is preferred.
First-level Scrum Master certification (PSM I)
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Previous experience as a developer, tech lead, or test manager
Excellent collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn-down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
Desirable Requirements
Second-level Scrum Master certification (PSM II)
SAFe Scrum Master and PMI-ACP certifications would be a plus.
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and agile games
Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team (Python, AWS, and cloud computing)
Proven servant leadership in DevOps and cloud-based programs.
