POSITION PURPOSE

Working with our Performance and Capability Team you will support the development of learning initiatives, improving people capability across our global network. This involves the analysis, design, development, and implementation of learning programs.

You will be responsible for designing effective, scalable high-quality learning solutions in a variety of formats. Enabling our people to acquire knowledge, skills and develop competencies in an engaging and effective manner.

As Learning Experience Designer, you will ensure learning needs are accurately identified and recommendations are appropriate to the learning needs using effective development principles.

  1. Work with subject matter experts and clearly identify the target audience’s training needs
  2. Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  3. Design Brief and Detailed Design Brief - Learning specifications

Design

  1. Design effective, engaging solutions for the delivery of learning content
  2. Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  3. Apply advanced instructional design theories, practice and methods
  4. Designing training that functions correctly on SuccessFactors

 

  1. Scripts and storyboards that meet business requirements
  2. Agreed timelines met
  3. Storyboards that meet agreed business requirements as per Training Needs Analysis and Design brief.
  4. Training functions as intended on SuccessFactors LMS


Development

  1. Developing and modifying courseware and supporting materials using agreed authoring software
  2. Developing training that functions correctly on SuccessFactors
  3. Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  4. Content that meets agreed business requirements as per Training Needs Analysis and Design brief.
  5. Training functions as intended on SuccessFactors LMS

 

Administration

  1. Develop instructional design protocols
  2. Maintain project documentation and course folders
  3. Ensure Version control protocols are adhered to
  4. Package learning files and submit them for loading onto SuccessFactors
  5. Follow agreed processes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


 

PERSON SPECIFICATION


Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification):

  1. 4 or more years’ experience in instructional design, Adult Learning or related field
  2. Detailed understanding of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE to support the embedding of learning
  3. Extensive experience working in a highly autonomous role
  4. Experience using eLearning development software and relevant tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, etc.)
  5. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts, and storyboards
  6. BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
  7. High attention to detail, especially when evaluating and reviewing content prior to implementation
  8. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build solutions and processes to meet operational problems
  9. Possess the ability to comprehend information from a range of disciplines/subjects
  10. Possess skills to structure and simplify complex information
  11. Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and work in a fast-paced environment
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  13. IELTS equivalent 6.5 overall minimum
