POSITION TITLE: 

Knowledgebase Analyst 

LOCATION: 

IS Service Desk – Chennai, India  

POSITION PURPOSE 

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the Knowledgebase is updated with latest information on universities, courses, eligibility criteria, scholarship information, etc. All requests for Knowledgebase updates would be handled by this role. In addition, this role would also be responsible for maintaining an internal shared portal that houses all process maps/documents.  

This role requires the candidate to have hands-on experience in the following areas: 

  • Research skills to gather information on latest courses/requirements 

  • Ability to interact with client teams to solicit such information 

  • Ability to create reference documents or share links to such information on the Knowledgebase  

  • Ability to create and maintain a shared collaboration portal (such as SharePoint)  

 

Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience & qualification): 

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience  

  • Graduate qualification  

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with IELTS ( or any other equivalent English proficiency score of 7 or above) 

  • High level of expertise in MS Office applications  

  • Experience in creating reference documents/checklists 

  • Experience in managing service requests and updating status on CRM tool 

  • Experience in adding/modifying content on a web portal 

  • Experience in managing a Shared/collaboration portal such as SharePoint 

  • Self-starter; ability to work under minimal supervision  

  • Excellent communicator; that can inspire stakeholders 

  • Reasonable project management skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple stakeholders and activities  

  • Ability to interact effectively with management and staff at all levels with solid interpersonal skills  

  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders that may be located in geographically disperse locations and / or different cultures 

  • Ability to gain commitment from others, effectively manage expectations and competing priorities. 

  • Alignment to IDP culture and values. 

 

Desirable requirements (leadership & team/project capabilities): 

  • Experience in process improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma, Lean, Agile 

  • Experience in education domain or digital transformation initiatives
