POSITION PURPOSE

This position is a strong hands-on technical position on analysis, design, development, and implementation, with a focus on systems integrations

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Leverage SAP Cloud Platform services to extend the benefit on the existing IT investments and be agile, and integrate IT landscapes so they can optimize business processes and become more efficient. 

  • Lead and facilitate customer integration sessions to identify and document customer requirements 

  • Responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining, and administering both real-time (ESB) and batch (ETL) solutions 

  • Learn/own the ongoing development and support of our existing integrations which include a mixture of middleware platforms and custom webservices. 

  • Responsible for analyzing and preparing recommendations to address existing (and potential) trouble areas in integration systems 

  • Runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing integration related systems for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging 

  • Post-implementation support of integration processes between various software platforms and applications. 

  • Contribute to operational, project and management level reporting 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 4 + Years working experience in systems integration  

  • Knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Cloud Integration/Data Platform as a service, Business to Business (B2B) and/or Electric Data Interchange (EDI) integration 

  • Have experience in working industry standards such as Extensive Markup Language (XML), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Javascript Object Notation (JSON), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Open Data Protocol (OData) and EDI. 

  • At least one full cycle implementation of integration solution/s (from design/spec to going live) 

  • Excellent software development skills in Java, Understanding of JAVA J2EE, Rest and SOAP based services. 

  • Have experience in integrating one or more integration styles such as Process Integration, Data Integration and User Integration. 

  • Highly developed Analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, influencing and customer management skills 

  • Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and design techniques. 

  • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems and architecture including cloud, SaaS and client/server 

  • Candidate must possess the ability and willingness to continually learn new and emerging technologies and “think outside the box”,  to deliver creative solutions of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyze and resolve highly complex technical issues.
