Education Counsellor - AU/NZ

We are actively recruiting Counsellors to work with students in Singapore, The Philippines and Vietnam but opportunities will be available throughout South East Asia.

We've been doing it for over 50 years creating a huge network of opportunity with offices in 32 countries. Our extensive network of approachable expert Counsellors work with students to identify and secure the university or college where they can start their global careers.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide counselling services to prospective students and parents on studying in overseas (mainly Australia and New Zealand), assist them in their education options to institutions who IDP represents, to the point of enrolment.
  • To act as the key liaison personnel for respective university partners assigned, ensuring the team is up to date on any progress or updates pertaining to the institutions.
  • Provide support to the team in outreach activities, roadshows, exhibitions, events and school talks.
  • To ensure targets or KPIs set are achieved or exceeded.
  • Supporting the Student Placement team in any other ad-hoc activities/tasks as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience.
  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree in any discipline from an Australia or New Zealand university (highly preferred but not a must).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work and operate in a team cohesively and demonstrate team work skills.
  • Good computer skills and familiar with usage of CRM systems
