About the Role

IDP is currently seeking a new Country Manager Oman, reporting to the Country Director – UAE, Oman and Qatar.  The Country Manager Oman will be responsible for leading the Student Placement and IELTS operations teams in Oman to continue to deliver sustained growth and increase market share.  As an exceptional sales and operations leader, the Country Manager Oman will identify opportunities for geographic expansion, develop and manage relationships with key partners, and develop high performing teams.  This is a highly relationship-based role, an experience in developing and managing service and performance standards; and business plans to increase sales, productivity and customer satisfaction is essential.  

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Exceptional sales leadership capabilities, with a track record of developing budgets and managing financial performance to meet business targets;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing a diverse range of stakeholder groups, including various ministries, local sponsors, business partners, and universities and education bodies;
  • Strong people and team leadership and management skills, with the proven ability to drive passion and culture;
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
