About the role:
IDP is a pioneer in international education services and one of the top 100 businesses listed on the Australian stock market. Canada and Latin America are of strategic importance to IDP’s future growth, so we are seeking a highly capable Marketing Director to take up this newly created role to lead our efforts in these markets.
This role reports to the Area Director Canada/LATAM is a member of the Canada/LATAM Leadership Team and is based at our Yonge and Eglinton offices in Toronto. The Area Marketing Director will be responsible for building and executing digital marketing initiatives to ensure agreed pipeline, volume and financial KPI’s are achieved.
What you will do
Lead the planning and execution of digital marketing strategy for IDP’s operations in Canada and Latin America, taking advantage of both IDP’s global business strategy and your own experience in service industries to drive our digital lead generation.
As part of the senior leadership team, help drive IDP’s evolution into an agile, digital-enabled and customer-led business.
Establish a culture of collaboration and co-creation with customers, clients, partners and other relevant bodies to deliver meaningful participation and strong outcomes aligned to business strategy.
Set a culture of iterative improvement where teams continually test and evolve the model to ensure growth ahead of the competition.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a high performing team that will deliver IDP’s key marketing objectives.
Ensure effective multi-channel online marketing campaigns to achieve traffic & web lead generation targets for IDP’s student placement business.
Drive ROI through organic growth (SEO), content marketing and optimisation of paid campaigns.
Work with the contact centre team to delivers an excellent customer experience and delivers results by integrating it fully into online marketing, marketing automation and the counselling experience
Drive effectiveness of existing business models through digital approaches and tools and develop new revenue streams.
We are excited about you because…
You have previous experience developing and implementing winning digital marketing strategies in a B2C environment in the internet or service industry, ideally where you’ve been helping customers make significant purchasing decisions.
You understand the opportunities and responsibilities of digitally-led marketing in both the Canada and LATAM markets with at least 4 years of experience in the Canadian market
Solid competency around paid search, content strategy and lead generation.
You are great at building and maintaining strong and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You’re a natural and inclusive leader, who has previously built high performing marketing and call centre teams that were instrumental in enabling an organisations growth journey.
