Seasonal Customer Service Specialist

Our mission is to use software and analytics to bring transparency to the opaque world of jewelry. We are backed by leading VCs including Khosla Ventures, Maveron, CSC, and Crosslink.

Note: we acquired the domain name ( 2 years ago (it is unrelated to the previous company).

What we'd like to see:

  • Bachelors degree preferred, but not required (in lieu of a degree, 1-4 years of relevant work experience is acceptable)

  • In some cases we will accept someone with little to no experience whom is simply sharp/passionate and willing/able to learn at an accelerated pace

  • Proficient in MS office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc...)

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter; positive working attitude

  • Internet and technology-savvy

  • Call center/sales experience is a big plus!

Initial Responsibilities Include:

  • Handling inbound calls regarding order tracking, sales, product inquires, returns and exchanges, and more

  • Daily order processing including reviewing all orders and dispatching them electronically for fulfillment

  • Customer account management including assisting customers with information regarding their order history, returned shipments, current order status, and all of the standard requests received by an eCommerce website

  • Handling online chats (live chat) with customers

  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and learn everything there is to know about jewelry (diamonds, pearls and precious metals)

  • Skilled at handling challenging customer demands while remaining cool-headed and professional

  • Making sure we take care of our customers in all cases

  • This position will be paid on an hourly basis, and required hours will be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

  • Hourly rate will be contingent upon experience
