Software Quality Assurance Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Intern to join our Product Optimizations team. This person will be engaged in an extremely fast-paced and challenging environment to help us build the next generation of our core business, with products reaching 100+ million users. As a team member in our highly entrepreneurial environment you will be expected to move quickly and collaborative effectively. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Use the best practices when performing the manual QA of applications, including many types of testing, such as black box testing, regression testing, smoke tests, etc.
  • QA tasks along with the other team members on a daily basis, creating bug tickets using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and TestRails.
  • Collaborate with developers identifying problems, reproducing issues, and sharing information saving screenshots, video captures, and steps to reproduce the problem.
  • Be part of the usual SCRUM ceremonies on this highly Agile team

REQUIREMENTS:

To be eligible for an IAC Apps internship, you must be registered as a student in good standing at an accredited college or university. The registration must apply for the full duration of the internship.

  • Candidate must have completed at least two years at an accredited college
  • Demonstrate good knowledge in Web Technologies
  • Demonstrate ability to learn fast how to use new tools
  • Work effectively with others
  • Plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within a defined time period
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Write and speak clearly and concisely
  • Minimum GPA 3.0

This position is based at the IAC App's headquarters in Yonkers, NY - a 5-minute walk from the Metro North Yonkers station.
