Deputy General Director

The Minsk office of a US mobile development company is looking for a strategic and growth-focused Deputy General Director to join the team. 

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record operating in high growth organizations. Internally, this individual will serve as an empowering force to constantly raise the bar and keep the team focused on growing the business. S/he will have an eye toward innovation and creativity, with an ability to position the company for significant growth in the coming years. S/he will be an experienced leader of large, multi-functional teams, have created and fostered a positive work culture, will know how to develop successful relationships inside and outside the organization and can drive business results.  

This role will be responsible for leading mobile development, product and project management, marketing, support services, and revenue generating teams of 200 employees. Experience leading agile development teams is required.

You will need technical, analytical and problem-solving skills and will be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Engineering, Product, Finance, and Marketing functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the day-to-day Minsk operations of the mobile business across 75+ products.

  • Own planning, development and implementation of key initiatives to enable triple digit growth.

  • Manage key external relationships across marketing, distribution, PR, data/analytics and technology.

  • Effectively manage downwards and upwards. This is a highly visible position with regular exposure to C-level executives.

  • Be an industry evangelist. Motivate and inspire your team to innovate.

  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of key team members to improve team performance and enhance team efficiency

  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • 10+ years of operating experience - managing through significant growth and scaling

    • Excellent command of the English language (Advanced)

    • Proven operational expertise and ability to bridge long-term strategy with short-term goals, ensuring that the team has the necessary direction, information, resources and support

    • Deep knowledge and understanding of operations (IT, finance, legal) as well as experience overseeing technical, product and marketing teams. 

    • Deep experience in mobile application development and optimization

    • Experienced in building, motivating and retaining high performing teams

    • “Lead by example” mentality and possesses the ability set the tone for the culture of the organization and can build relationship internally and externally based on trust, honesty and integrity.
