Assistant Product Manager, Browser Platform

Ask Applications B2C team creates customized browser applications for consumers. Our mission is simple: To make cool software that makes life easier in just a few clicks. Our consumer products such as Television Fanatic and Gaming Wonderland reach millions of users across the globe each day.

Within Ask Applications, the Browser Platform Team is a cross-functioning powerhouse, working collaboratively with experts in UX, design, engineering, marketing, and more. This team is responsible for maintaining and constantly optimizing the platform that supports our software products downloaded by millions of users around the world.

*This role sits in our Yonkers, NY office

What You’ll do:

  • Identify new opportunities to optimize our applications in IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari

  • Keep abreast of changes in the browser / operating system space and develop plans to ensure our products continue to function

  • Work with stakeholders to gather input, develop a prioritized roadmap, and then effectively communicate roadmap to ensure all departments are in sync

  • Coordinate across multiple departments to shepherd features through development process and address any issues that arise

  • Create and maintain documentation on product specifications

  • Configure and roll out product features using internal tools

  • Monitor and analyze product performance data and coordinate troubleshooting activities as needed

  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks to maintain active user base

What You Have:

  • 1 to 3 years in online product management, project management, or related professional experiences that required a high degree of detail, organization and timely delivery

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or business related field

  • Experience working in a tech environment with an understanding of computer software and how applications are developed (JIRA is a plus)

  • Experience with experiment design (A/B Testing, Multivariate Testing)

  • Experience generating reports and analyzing data (Tableau is a plus)

  • A “user’s first” mentality. We listen and learn from our users so we can build products and solutions they will love

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • A high-energy level as well as a good sense of humor
