Title: Staff Accountant, Stock-Based Compensation 

Supervisor: Senior Manager, Finance & Equity  

Location:  New York, NY


  • Process and release shares associated with stock option exercises
  • Compile and release shares related to the vesting of restricted stock and performance stock units
  • Prepare and distribute month-end reports for stock option, restricted stock  units and performance stock units to Corporate Accounting and business units
  • Assist in the management of IAC stock option, restricted stock and performance-based stock plans maintained by IAC’s external stock option administrator
  • Reconcile shares related to stock plan transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Gather and prepare data for the valuation of stock option grants
  • Assist with the quarterly calculation of non-cash compensation
  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and compliance
  • Provide support to internal and external auditors’ requests
  • Provide annual proxy details/disclosure to Legal
  • Support other Finance functions including ad hoc projects and analyses as necessary


  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Degree in Accounting required
  • Experience with stock-based compensation, including stock options, restricted stock and/or performance-based stock awards
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Required computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment
