IAC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Continuity and Crisis Manager to develop and implement the processes, tools, systems, and metrics for business continuity management (BCM), emergency preparedness and response.  This role will be responsible for daily program operations as well as new projects and initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Global Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery program
  • Work with senior management and various department leaders to conduct Business Impact Assessments
  • Reengineer existing crisis plans to form usable BCP
  • Oversee crisis planning for key executives
  • Create Crisis Management teams & sub-teams, and assign duties and responsibilities
  • Oversee emergency alerting and communication plans compliant with applicable laws, regulations and contractual client requirements at all physical locations
  • Act as subject matter expert on use of crisis management tools and resources
  • Oversee fire safety programs at corporate owned facilities
  • Develop, manage and train office and emergency personnel at multiple locations to maintain crisis policies and procedures
  • Lead efforts during and after a continuity or disruption event
  • Implement, maintain and regularly update program contact lists
  • Coordinate with Corporate Operations team on Incident Response where it affects business operations
  • Consult with Information Technology on scale and improvement of technology disaster recovery program
  • Create related risk assessment, site survey, monitoring, controls, metrics and dashboard reporting
  • Prepare annual planning and testing calendar and budget
  • Develop and conduct awareness training and exercises for end users on Crisis Planning and Disaster Recovery
  • Provide client-driven due diligence materials: test results, program summaries

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Continuity and Crisis Management
  • Experience implementing resilience program in a large enterprise
  • Must possess technical knowledge and practical experience in the all the following domains: business continuity, physical security/safety and infrastructure, failure prevention, detection and response, emergency management
  • Experience with global Business Continuity standards and frameworks
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, management, information systems, or a related discipline
  • Business Continuity Certification (e.g. CBCP, CBCI, C/DRE, CBCM, EDRP, etc.); or equivalent
  • Ability to manage business and organizational vision by communicating a compelling purpose, driving change cross-organizationally, and inspiring and motivating people and organizations
  • Proven leadership experience with the skills and abilities to drive solutions and results
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change
  • Business and risk analysis, problem-solving, planning, project management and execution skills
  • Ability to multi-task, learn quickly, think strategically, be flexible, analytical, and adapt
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office, PowerPoint, and similar office programs
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time (including international travel)
