Executive IT Support Engineer

The Executive IT Support Engineer must be able to communicate effectively, provide superior customer satisfaction with their personable approach, attention to detail, listening skills, and problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about all aspects of technology to effectively troubleshoot a very diverse technology stack. The ability to work under pressure and resolve issues and communicate in a timely manner are key success metrics in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary point of contact within IT for problem resolution and technical support for key executives, their assistants, and other support staff.
  • Provide personalized white glove service and support for our executive team both in the office and home environments
  • Provide prompt, confidential and reliable technical support for a wide range of IT equipment and software.
  • A service-oriented attitude with the ability to establish trust with the utmost discretion in handling sensitive/private technical issues and other matters
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive team as well as others providing step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Constant monitoring of executive team technology to ensure customer satisfaction and taking the extra step go above and beyond
  • Acts as an advisor to each Executive to anticipates their IT requirements at an individual level and recommend new technology solutions.
  • Builds IT portfolio for each Executive according to his/her specific setup ensuring it meets all security controls, monitoring, alerting and resiliency configurations
  • Coordinate with other Information Technology resources to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires 5+ years of customer support and IT infrastructure experience.
  • Need to possess great customer service skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Need to be capable of presenting complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to respond quickly, competently, and patiently, to executive staff. Individual must be able to gather information, evaluate options and offer perfect working solutions.
  • Ideal candidate will find satisfaction in unique problem solving and strong willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to be on site and on call. Willing to work after hours and weekends as needed.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge/Administration of various SaaS tools - Office 365, Azure AD, Powershell, Zoom, Google Workspace, Okta, Meraki, etc.
  • Windows 10
  • iPhone/iPad support and device management
  • Basic network technology knowledge (LAN/WAN and wireless)
  • Satellite communications and data communications is a strong plus. Any aviation systems support is a plus.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field preferred as well as significant hands-on experience with computers and customer support or equivalent experience.


Salary Range: $140,000 to $165,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
