Corporate Controller

Salaried Exempt

The Corporate Controller role is an exciting opportunity to drive the efficiency and financial leadership for the accounting department of one of IAC's subsidiary companies.  As the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for day to day operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.   

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the monthly close and preparation of the consolidated financial statements and other schedules included in the consolidated reporting package
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost savings and develop and implement ways to improve financial reporting and controls; including participation in the design and implementation of financial reporting systems
  • Establish and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
  • Analyze and understand various service/product offerings and revenue/expense streams to ensure proper revenue recognition and financial system set-up
  • Manage sales and use tax compliance
  • Support the growth and development of a team of 15
  • Support various special projects as required
  • Assist in the integration of acquired businesses


  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in accounting and/or finance is required
  • CPA required
  • Ten plus years related experience required,  Big 4 experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong technical accounting skills with in- depth knowledge of GAAP and related literature
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to work across organization, including liaising with businesses to proactively address accounting implications of revenue contracts
  • In depth knowledge and practical application of Sarbanes Oxley
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system implementations
  • Working knowledge of MS Dynamics GP a plus
  • Experience within a multi-company, multi-state environment is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
