Brewery & Machine Maintenance Tech

Job Description

As one of the nation’s fastest growing kombucha companies, Humm Kombucha is on a quest to put the goodness of Humm in the hands of as many people as possible.

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Facilities Maintenance Tech who will manage and maintain the packaging equipment and ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner with minimal production downtime. This great position will work on 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, starting at 3:30 pm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you’ll support and perform day to day tasks for all new projects and equipment improvements in an efficient and cost-effective manner.  You'll also assist with PM, reliability, and spare part management of the companies packaging equipment and any equipment associated with the production.

What’s Required for Consideration:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in general maintenance required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • A minimum two (2) year technical degree preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of packaging equipment, processes, and procedures.

  • Ability to provide instruction to other personnel regarding maintenance protocols.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills

  • Basic skills with hand tools and other shop tools

  • Operate and drive company forklifts and vehicles

  • Function in a loud and busy production environment

  • Ability to follow and train personnel on the relevant company safety and OSHA requirements
