Founded in May 2010 and based in San Francisco, Humble Bundle is the most consumer friendly way, to buy bundles of epic games and other content. Our customers pay whatever they want for our bundle content, then allocate how their payment is split between the content creators and charities.
Join our engineering team and your code will change digital distribution and raise millions more for charity. Your work will immediately impact our customer base of 4.1M, who’ve spent over $85M with us, raising over $32M for amazing charities, like the Red Cross, Childs Play and EFF.
Our engineers learn new skills easily and tackle complex operational and product problems. We’re building systems designed to be reliable, scalable and deliver content across all devices.
Some examples of technologies our engineers work on:
On the backend, we are one of the biggest users of Google App Engine, and integrate it with realtime message passing services like PubNub. We are really good at crashing 3rd party services, including the largest payment processors. We use a bouquet of technologies around Python for our systems: webapp2 for our main site, and Flask, Pewee, Celery, and Fabric for our internal tools. BigQuery for interactive analysis . We use traditional databases like Postgres, super-scaly ones like the GAE Datastore, as well as shiny new databases as a service like Firebase.
