Logistics Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive, inspect, enter inventory deliveries into appropriate system (Microsoft Dynamics GP / Without Wire)

  • To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner

  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory in compliance with all applicable standards (cGMPs, Humacyte SOPs)

  • Expedite the receipt of Certificates of Analysis, SDS and other required documentation or labelling to initiate QC’s inspection process for the arrival of inventory

  • Process transactions associated with the depletion of inventory including Material Requests, Disposal Authorizations, Adjustments, Returns to Vendors and the assembly associated with the return

  • Arrange for the removal of Hazardous Waste from the warehouse and laboratories

  • Stage inventory materials for production use

  • Perform daily housekeeping

  • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts as required

  • Comply with all safety related material handling procedures and equipment including fork-lift trucks and power pallet jacks. Will be required to lift and move smaller size materials physically

  • Adhere to all Humacyte Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures as applicable for functional area

  • Strictly comply with all cGMP guidelines

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Three to five years’ experience as a material hander.

  • At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred; appropriate food industry experience may be considered in lieu of pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Previous MS Dynamics GP experience strongly preferred

  • Handle raw material receipts, staging and returns of Controlled Inventory, inspection and movement/delivery of all materials entering through the warehouse on a daily basis in accordance with cGMP’s

  • Physical requirements including stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50pounds

  • Position may require working holidays, weekends and over-time

  • .Certification of power-truck equipment.
