About the Job:

This purpose of this role is to support the Vice President of Expansion in coordinating and managing the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Holistic portfolio.

Planning and Integration Management 

  • Work with Vice President - Expansion to build integration plan templates that can be tailored based on specifics of individual acquisitions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all deliverables associated with assigned M&A integration 

  • Using Integration templates, work closely with all teams (IT, Finance, HR, Operations, Security, Compliance, Retail, Wholesale, Real Estate) at Holistic to build strategic integration plans for each individual acquisition  

  • Along with the Expansion team and the Business Development team, act as a point of contact to all internal and external stakeholder groups during integration process 

  • Partner with business stakeholders to increase organizational knowledge, build relationships, assist in the development of operational plans post-close, and confirm integration approach  

Executing Integration 

  • Assist with execution of all aspects of integration plans according to established goals 

  • Work with all teams within Holistic to ensure integration plan deadlines are met 

  • Partner with management and staff of acquired businesses to execute integration plan, assimilate into Holistic, and meet agreed upon timelines during integration/transition phase 

  • Assist in leading cross-functional team through integration planning and execution 

  • Prepare appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to create a better, faster, easier integration experience for each M&A deal 


  • Support several acquisition integration projects simultaneously 

  • Create tools to provide effective and clear communication to all parties involved in the integration process 

  • Provide consistent communication and status updates to all teams 

  • Work closely with all departments and maintain a culture of collaboration  

  • Work closely with Business Development to ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to integration 

  • Travel for integration purposes as needed 

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Holistic's integration processes and best practices

  • Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management 

  • Physical Requirements of the Job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. May include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to long periods of bright lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones. 

About You:  


  • Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check – certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state marijuana licensing regulations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Business integration, or M&A experience 

  • Well-versed in project management with a track record of success seeing large projects through to completion 

  • Ability to understand complex regulatory language and ensure compliance 

  • Experience with public speaking and delivering presentations in a group setting 

Technological Skills:  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Project  

  • Prior knowledge of “Deal Room” or similar M&A software a plus, but not a requirement
