About the Job:
The Licensing Associate is responsible for assisting with all licensing for the company, including cannabis, business, tax, and other licensing.
Assist the Director of Licensing with the cannabis licensing processes in all markets and help ensure that all required licenses are obtained and maintained.
Assist with licensing applications, as needed.
Coordinate with all departments across the Company to assist in standing up new facilities.
Assist in securing all business and local licenses, as needed.
Track and organize all licensing activities.
Maintain document management in connection with all licensing activities.
Provide project management, logistical, and administrative support, as needed.

Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management.
Physical Requirements of the Job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. May include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to long periods of bright lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones.
Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.
Degree from an accredited four-year college is required.
Entry-level candidates will be considered, although experience in handling regulatory/business licensing or communications is preferred.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to read, interpret, and explain legal and regulatory documents and information
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
Must be diligent with great attention to detail and the ability to work a highly detailed assignment to completion
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
