About the Job:

As a Compliance Training Program Manager, you are responsible for the management of the compliance/regulatory course catalog and its program communications to learners. Management of these courses includes oversight for the creation, design, content, launch schedules, delivery, and record keeping of all courses. The position requires an understanding of the state regulations in which Holistic operates and our corporate policies to foster a compliance-driven mindset that balances mitigating risk while delivering an engaging learning experience. 


    • Analyze the regulatory training needs of Operations teams.  

    • Design and develop core curriculum for team members to achieve legal and regulatory obligations.  

    • Ensure compliance courses are relevant, instructionally sound and engage learners with activities to apply their knowledge. 

    • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Governmental Affairs (LRGA) to curate content and assess course catalog for alignment between courses and current policies ensuring that the content is relevant and up to date.  

    • Develop training aids and tools to reinforce the messages/content from the training courses.


    • Handle the sourcing/producing, evaluating, and administering of learning resources building collaborative relationships with content vendors. 

    • Collaborate with Operations and LRGA teams to ensure schedules meet training plan requirements and ensure that course audiences are accurate. 

    • Prioritize and multitask to manage programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. 

    • Communicate clearly and accurately to various levels informing on timelines, training purposes, and the reinforcement of learning objectives. 

    • Evaluate program effectiveness setting regular program reviews in conjunction with reporting on program results. 

    • Facilitate ongoing meetings with subject matter experts to ensure process efficiency and communication on expectations for program launch deadlines. 

    • Special projects as assigned.  

  • Physical Requirements of the Job: LIGHT OFFICE LIFTING. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds (up to about 50 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Ability to tolerate moderate to loud exposure to noise level. Exposure to long periods of bright lights. Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones.

About You:  


  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials.


  • BS or BA degree in technical writing, instructional design, or other related discipline  

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex, compliance training programs 

  • Prior experience in the cannabis industry a plus 

Technological Skills:

  • Working knowledge of eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Experience and expertise with training delivery and tracking systems including learning management systems (LMS) and online or web delivery methods 

  • Ability to quickly learn and use enterprise software systems 

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Strong planning, project management, and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities and meet deadlines 

  • Demonstrable proficiency in course development and effective methods of knowledge transfer.  

  • Demonstrable ability to devise creative methods for the transfer of technical information.
