Job Summary

The Paid Search Analyst will support the Senior Search Analyst to create and manage marketing campaigns for our clients within the Higher Education industry.  The Paid Search Analyst will work with Media Buyers, Client Success Managers and Account Managers to ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on-time and with guaranteed deliverables.  The position also requires researching consumer and market trends, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting metrics. 


We are currently hiring a Paid Search Analyst to work wither from our Cincinnati, OH office or from a Remote office. 


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Search Analyst
  • Work with Senior Search Analyst to establish new online opportunities for client base
  • Quickly and efficiently create and manage PPC campaigns, including keyword research
  • Negotiate, develop, monitor and manage delivery of booked campaigns on CPA, CPC and CPM models. This includes monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Exhibit consistent and timely follow-up on all new channel and SEM launches
  • Monitor the daily development of campaigns and make immediate optimizations
  • Help coordinate tests prior to commitment of online media purchases to ensure appropriate results once campaign is live
  • Execute research and analysis to further team’s understanding of the consumer and market
  • Work with other media buyers, client services, and sales staff to perform on established timelines for project turnaround and deliverables
  • On time delivery for each project and with the guaranteed deliverables
  • Implement and monitor all reporting and reporting metrics to ensure that best practices are adhered to
  • Become an expert in program details and geography of our clients
  • Conceptualize and initiate tests with the Senior Search Analyst (keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns
  • Become well-versed in higher education accreditations, regulations, initiatives and related concepts necessary to contribute to better keyword build outs
  • Take ownership of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting required.  Respond to ad hoc reporting requests by utilizing data resources available to you in Search Manager, Google Analytics, AdWords UI, etc.
  • Ability to work with a team in a multi-client environment


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years online media buying experience with a strong background in analytics

  • 4 year college degree in Marketing Communications or equivalent
  • Experience managing paid search accounts exceeding $100k monthly spend
  • Certified Google Advertising Professional
  • Experience managing client relationships through aggressive and successful partnerships with proven ability to cross-sell internal product offerings
