Implementation Manager



Job Summary

The Implementation Manager oversees a team of Implementation Specialists who are responsible for conducting the initial set-up of Hobsons products.  The Implementation Manager is also responsible for ensuring a successful hand off from the sales team through implementation and support.


We are currently looking for an Implementation Manager to work in either our Cincinnati, Ohio or Arlington, Virginia office. 


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the client satisfaction, success, and progress of all Tier 1 and 2 implementations
  • Supervise, train, and mentor team of implementation specialists responsible for implementing all Hobsons Higher Education products and provide team goals and objectives
  • Identify and assign resources needed for each project
  • Coordinate end user and creative services team resources where applicable
  • Conduct regular check-ins with each Implementation Specialist to obtain pulse of accounts, workload, and personal skills/progression
  • Assist team members in the scheduling of on-site visit where applicable
  • Accompany team members on onsite visits to evaluate staff and identify process improvements where applicable
  • Encourage and conduct post-implementation surveys with clients and account transition surveys with internal staff to gauge effectiveness and satisfaction
  • Conduct the performance management process for all Implementation Specialists on team
  • Interact regularly with End User, Creative Services, and Client Success teams to facilitate product set-up and client hand-off upon implementation completion
  • Serve as the liaison with the sales team to meet desired client timelines
  • Organize and deliver monthly reporting on implementation project and team status
  • Determine appropriate revenue recognition on a monthly basis
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
  • Manage the development of team by ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each team members career interests
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
  • Ensure team members are following procedures and documenting projects appropriately


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related field
  • 3-5 years’ relevant Marketing, Sales, or Customer Service Management experience
  • Strong orientation toward teamwork and experience in managing a goal-driven team
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients
  • Exceptional organization and strong problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high quality results
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Understanding of Higher Education Business a plus
