Administrative Assistant

HMA Architecture Inc. is a small and well-established, full-service residential architecture firm located in Folsom, CA. Our firm specializes in designing high-end custom homes & estates, multi-family residences, and developer-based subdivisions throughout California and Nevada. We are looking for a stand-out, talented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment. Someone who is willing to take on any task, while having a great, positive, upbeat attitude.

General Responsibilities Include:

  • Answer Phone Calls and direct calls to appropriate individuals
  • Greet Visitors, maintain office cleanliness and presentation, including plant care and holiday decorating
  • Print and Collate Plans as needed
  • Attends meetings and take notes, when needed
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Check daily mail, send out correspondence and/or deliveries as needed.
  • Order Samples, maintain sample library as needed
  • Provide clerical support as needed to other departments
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
  • Inputting of data, maintaining database
  • Printer and Computer Troubleshooting knowledge
  • Maintain Office Calendar using Outlook
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Simple Website Maintenance
  • Run local errands (mileage will be reimbursed)


  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat
  • Photoshop experience a plus
  • Tech Savy
  • Organized, reliable, detail oriented, and multi-tasker
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Extremely flexible schedule
  • Have a reliable vehicle
  • Lift up to 50 pounds comfortably


  • Administrative assistant: 3 year
  • Social Media & Marketing: 1 year
  • Customer Service: 1 year
  • Architecture or Construction Knowledge a plus


Work Hours & Pay

Part-time – 25-30 Hours per week

Hourly Pay: $17-$19 DOE
