HR Generalist

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist (aka People Operations Specialist) will play a key role on our People & Culture team. In this role, you will build and administer HR programs, systems and processes across the company as we continue on our high growth trajectory. Our ideal candidate is someone that isn’t afraid of ambiguity, finds gratification in optimizing and creating sustainable HR processes.

Your Day-To-Day:

  • Leverage HR Expertise: Handle employment-related inquiries on a wide variety of topics ranging from benefits, immigration to handbook and policies. 

  • Immigration Coordination: In conjunction with the Director of People Ops, you'll be the primary point of contact with our immigration attorney and facilitate the sponsorship process and file management.

  • Benefits and Wellness Program Administrator: Oversee open enrollment, leave management, wellness programs, vendor management. You're an expert-researcher, finding new and creative ways to develop and deliver wellness programs

  • Compliance: Be a key point of contact for internal audits, policy and employee handbook development and delivery, employee file and record management, unemployment claims processing, etc.

  • HRIS and Payroll Administration: Assist with ensuring timely and accurate system and payroll administration and activities. You'll continually find ways to optimize all of our systems and ensure that employee data is updated accurately on a timely basis

  • Compensation and Benefits Benchmarking and Reporting: Provide analysis on compensation, reports and support the annual compensation review cycle 

  • Special Projects: deliver People & Culture initiatives through completion and create reporting to track progress

  • Stay HR Savvy: You'll stay current with HR legal knowledge in all of the states and regions where we have employees. 

  • Bring the Zing! Coordinate and plan employee activities and events 


  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent of HR experience for 2-5 years 

  • Must have solid understanding of HR compliance, immigration, benefits administration and HR processes

  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google sheets is required

  • Previous experience with HRIS and Payroll systems preferred

  • Must be able to accommodate some early mornings (7am CST) and evening meetings (8-10pm CST) to collaborate with global teams
