Account Manager - West Texas

Essential Functions:

  • Establishes and builds strong, proactive customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, district level, account representatives, end-users, etc.).
  • Travels throughout sales territories and works with service companies and operators to gather pertinent sales information. Promotes the Hi-Crush brand to increase awareness in all of the possible market areas to uncover and generate new business opportunities.
  • Develops, maintains and distributes detailed market information, trends, and issues pertaining to various territories to the sales staff.
  • Coordinates with Account Executive (West Texas) to develop market analysis and provides input to distribution services team to ensure adequate inventory is available to meet demand in specific market territories.
  • Coordinates with Account Executive (West Texas) to develop the regional sales forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Remains current as to industry best practices, competitive market data and knowledge of where the industry is headed in order to better communicate with customers.
  • Performs all assigned and other related duties in North America.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or oil & gas related field. (1-3 years)
  • Aptitude to learn sales and marketing techniques and related financial principles.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to enable good team interaction, in addition to developing and maintaining positive relationships both externally and internally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of products, industrial operations and/or markets and customers served highly desirable.
