The Position: Reporting to the Team Lead Training & Consulting with our Customer Services team, we are looking for a Trainer to join our ANZ team based in either Perth, Queensland or NSW.

This position will see you deliver high-quality training programs to ensure effective adoption and utilisation of Hexagon’s solutions within mining operations in APAC. Your focus will be equipping customers and internal stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and best practices required to operate, maintain, and optimise Hexagon’s systems safely and efficiently

In addition but not limited to the following responsibilities.

  • Deliver structured training programs (classroom, onsite, and virtual) aligned with operational and technical requirements
  • Support system go-live activities by providing hands-on user training and operational guidance.
  • Provide post-training support and clarification to ensure sustainable system adoption

This position will follow an 8/6 roster which will be combined across client sites/local office and interstate office when required.

About you

We are looking for an experienced individual who is who is ready for the next step in their career, utilising their knowledge of OT technology in a training capacity, working with a variety of clients and stakeholders get the best out of Hexagons technology.

In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes.

  • Prior experience in production of field environment, with exposure to training others in field of mining systems
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to facilitate and lead training sessions single of as a group, providing coaching and guidance on performance
  • Class C drivers’/vehicle license required
  • Ability to explain safety integration in practical mining scenarios.
  • Understanding of mining operational processes (loading, hauling, dumping, shift management, production reporting).
  • Valid working rights within Australia: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

Knowledge and Experience - Desired:

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment desirable.
  • Understanding of safety systems integration within FMS environment (collision avoidance, fatigue monitoring, etc.).
  • Basic troubleshooting capability for common user issues (connectivity, device communication, data synchronization, login/access issues).
  • Experience supporting system implementation, go-live, and user adoption phases.

  • Supporting a sales process

Travel:

  • This role supports customers predominately at their sites and therefore involves significant travel domestically with some international travel.
