Purpose of Position:

We are currently seeking a candidates for a Supply and Logistics Warehouse Support role, on a permanent full-time basis to join our Autonomous Road Train project team based in Perth.

The position will be responsible for the accurate and timely storage and dispatch of products and equipment for Hexagon Mining Australian operations whilst ensuring that facilities are maintained to a high standard at all times within the Hexagon Autonomous Road Train program at Mineral Resources' Onslow Iron Ore project.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide accurate and timely receipt, dispatch and storage of goods
  • Preparation of orders to a high packing and consistent standard
  • Complete accurate and timely booking of freight with both Domestic and International carriers
  • Maintain accurate transaction records on a variety of systems, both electronic and manual
  • Co-ordinate and prioritise warehouse tasks efficiently and in line with business deadlines
  • Manage maintenance of equipment (e.g. schedule regular service of forklift) as required
  • Participation in stocktakes and audits as required
  • Ensure services provided are customer-focused and of a consistently high quality
  • Maintain adequate levels of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to fulfil the duties of this role
  • Compliance with Hexagon Mining Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required from time to time

Knowledge and Experience - Required:

  • Experience in warehouse/inventory/logistics in a pack to order or kitting/packing environment
  • Forklift licence
  • Understanding of Inventory Management processes
  • Demonstrated administrative experience relevant to stores management
  • Previous experience with Freight bookings, both Domestic and International
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal and external customers
  • MS Office skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Current drivers licence
  • High level attention to detail; and
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
