Purpose of Position:

To lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget while meeting quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and apply best practices in project management.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases

- Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability
- Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and methodologies
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure documentation is up to date
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned post-project completion

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSc or BEng) - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory - Minimum 5 years of industry experience in project management
- Demonstrated experience in mining, construction and manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in stakeholder management, budgeting, and risk mitigation

- Familiarity with change management principles

Travel:

- International and/or Domestic travel will be required.

- Valid Driver's License and passport

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana)
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
