Production Technician

The Position: Reporting to the Production Lead, based in Welshpool, Perth. We are seeking to recruit a Production Technician. This role will see you join a medium team, part of a global business supporting our mining stakeholders across the ANZ region. This position will see you responsible for assembling products according to specifications, performing equipment upkeep and routine checks with escalating troubleshooting responsibility, conducting quality checks, and supporting team production goals and contributing to workflow optimisation

In addition, but not limited to the following responsibilities.

• Independently assemble mechanical and electrical products, interpreting complex blueprints and schematics to ensure precision and adherence to technical specifications.
• Perform thorough quality checks and inspections on components and finished products, identifying and addressing defects to uphold production standards.
• Operate and maintain machinery and tools, independently troubleshooting issues and optimising equipment performance to meet production targets.
• Perform RMA inspections, conduct repairs under guidance, document corrective actions, and escalate recurring issues for root cause analysis.

This position is based in Welshpool working Monday to Friday.

• Experienced working with production environment, would be desirable.
• Ability to work with hand tools, inept to mechanical components would be desirable not essential
• Positive and contributing team player
• Computer literacy across production systems or Microsoft office suite/file explorer
• Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
