Purpose of Position:

The Content & Communications role is central in crafting the Hexagon story and packaging it for our main audiences and personas both internal and external. Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills are a requirement with attention to detail from copy to brand being “musts”. Ensuring a consistent voice across all channels and assets from our main narrative, PR to podcasts, whitepapers to videos, targeted campaigns, sales collateral and digital experiences, your work will solidify our positioning as thought leaders in the mining space and beyond, drive continuous interest in our solutions and impact sales readiness and positioning, regardless the medium. You are comfortable working with the media and preparing messages for public release. You are motivated by using technology for more efficient processes and, most importantly, you are an experienced team leader (estimate two direct reports to start) and marketer who understands the importance of positive team dynamics to achieve personal and professional goals.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

This role encompasses the management of content and communication which incorporates, external and internal communications, content creation (all types and including campaigns, social media, video, sales enablement, etc) and storytelling.

Brainstorming, creation, and transformation of ideas into stories for all types of marketing materials across all channels.

Identification of opportunities to promote Hexagon leadership and innovation in support of customer challenges and our solving for those challenges.

Development of content needs to ensure ample content and communication across workflows, solutions, and products in support the opportunities and ideas identified.

Creation and execution of omnichannel campaigns that incorporate messaging and storytelling priorities.

Planning of the editorial calendar including media sponsorships/packages and content-related investments (advertising).

Collaboration with a diverse panel of stakeholders in the execution of plans.

Assurance of content consistency and brand compliance (style, tone of voice), optimized for search.

Stewardship of the brand voice to ensure Hexagon’s personality is defined and differentiated.

Development of and exemplification of standards and processes for content creation, distribution, and maintenance

Knowledge and Experience - Required:

• Previous small-team managerial experience.

• Best practices in grammar, writing and style. Editing and consistency is very important to you.

• Previous work in the mining industry and technology is a huge advantage.

• B2B copyrighting experience across multiple communications channels.

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.

• Ability to thrive in a cross-geo, cross-cultural environment spanning time-zones is necessary

Knowledge and Experience - Desired:

• The ability to write and manage the creation of SEO keyword driven copy is a plus.
• Previous work in the mining industry and technology is a huge advantage.
