Purpose of Position:

This dynamic role is ideal for a candidate with experience working in marketing and/or communications for a B2B technology company across various marketing functions including but not limited to event marketing, sales enablement and social media. Use of proven skills in written and verbal communications at fluency level in both Spanish and English is key. Additionally, this person thrives in a role where detail and project management go hand-in-hand where, in addition to marketing and communications stakeholders, working with various parts of the business at both commercial and technical levels is necessary. Key responsibilities: organize marketing initiatives in all Spanish-speaking areas of the Hexagon Mining division Latin American regions.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the implementation of a comprehensive strategic, regional marketing plan across multiple channels, supporting sales goals.
  • Work on the promotion of local initiatives from advertising, digital media, sales partnership and support, in-person and virtual events, social media, etc.
  • Promote the Hexagon brand and culture to external audiences through the support of proprietary and third-party events.
  • Collaborate with divisional and corporate level marketing colleagues to leverage knowledge and resources for optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor key trends in mining such as understanding the market, the value propositions, and how to drive notoriety and adoption within the region.
  • Manage the translation process of English documents to Spanish with a translation vendor, including proofreading with technical experts.

Knowledge and Experience - Required:

  • Spanish native-language fluency level. Business-level fluency in English.
  • B2B technology/solutions experience in a marketing department.
  • Proven teamwork with sales, customers and outsourced vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; major in Business or Marketing Communications is preferred but not required (experience is most important).
  • Experience working in a global environment. The geographic location of this role will necessitate flexibility working in time zones across the Americas.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Travel:

  • Travel within Latin America, 20%
  • 0-2 trips to the USA per year.
