Production Worker - Part Time

Bottling | American Canyon, CA | Part Time | From $20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Job Description

The Bottling/Warehouse Worker will be responsible for all daily bottling line tasks including but not limited to set-up and sanitation, bottling, line changeovers and basic maintenance. In a team environment this role is responsible for keeping the bottling line running efficiently while maintaining product quality and safety. This role reports to the Bottling Supervisor/Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Key areas of responsibility

  • Under moderate supervision, operate and perform basic troubleshooting on equipment including Monobloc, capsulator, labeler, depal, palletizer and case packer.
  • Safely and efficiently operate assigned pieces of equipment to meet or exceed established production goals while upholding quality standards.
  • Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
  • Perform daily cleaning and weekly preventative maintenance. Responsible maintaining an organized and Food Safety compliant work area.
  • Assist in line changeovers including material counts.
  • Nurture strong relationships with both bottling and other departments, striving to continuously improve processes and outcomes. Embrace the belief that there is always room for growth and innovation, and actively seek out ways to enhance operations.

  • Bottle Strip Labels
  • Making Tray Packs
  • Wine re-packs
  • Soaking and removing labels for re-labeling
  • Assist DTC and Bottling teams, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of six-months of bottling machine operating experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent such as GED
  • Must have forklift operation experience and/or ability to obtain certification.
  • Must adhere to Company attendance standards.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must have basic math skills, and be to count, add and subtract accurately
  • Must have the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively.
  • Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills.

FOOD SAFETY: Each person is responsible for upholding all the provisions within our Quality policy and meeting all regulatory and statutory requirements relevant to their induvial role. In the absence of this role the person that this role reports to shall be responsible for ensuring all food safety requirements relative to this role are met.

This role’s compensation is anticipated to fit within the range of $20 – $22 hourly rate. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate skills, experience, knowledge and education.
