Mission:

Healthx continues to grow and expand and is looking for someone to lead our experienced and professional sales team.  Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this person will be in charge of the new sales team and will play a key role as he/she leads and coaches a highly visible and motivated sales organization

The VP, Enterprise Sales needs to have strong healthcare payer B2B SaaS sales and management experience and possess a burning desire to succeed. He/she will iterate and build upon our current SaaS sales strategy and organization while providing definition and implementation of the plan to exceed our sales objectives.

This senior sales leader will ensure the team meets and exceeds company sales goals.  He/she will manage the performance of the sales team targeting new Healthx prospects and provide management and support related to assisting them in meeting individual and team sales quotas.

Outcomes:

  • Lead sales team to meet or exceed sales objectives as assigned

  • Lead team to prepare, implement, and execute territory management plans, that define the sales strategy for the individual’s assigned market/territory, ensuring attainment of sales quota

  • Work strategically with the VP of Sales Operations to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions or system improvements

  • Develop relationships with C and VP level executives within market segments and clearly articulate the Healthx value proposition to address their business needs

  • Utilizes the Salesforce CRM solution to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking along with predictable and accurate pipeline reports and sales forecasts

  • Lead and mentor the sales team in solution selling techniques to effectively guide the sales process to close

  • Support the sales team by delivering sales presentations and developing prospect meetings

  • Support sales team in the preparation and delivery of quotes and proposals

  • Keep informed of industry trends and feed this information to the Product Strategy, Development, and Marketing teams, in an effort to strengthen the Healthx offering.

  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities

  • Engage the Professional Services team as needed in the sales process to deliver the highest quality services to the customer

  • Actively build product knowledge to ensure a high level of understanding of the Healthx product

  • Assist the Healthx inside sales development team in the development of messaging and lead generation activities

  • Travel as needed for client, prospect and sales meetings, travel is projected to average 50 - 75%

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5 years history of leading a sales team with continuous attainment of quota or target-based metrics in SaaS sales in the large healthcare payer market

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with health plan member engagement or population health product offerings

  • Understanding of SaaS product and service models

  • Ability to provide a consultative approach within the sales process

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary team to plan sales activities
