Mission:

You will lead the Agile process for one or more Agile/Scrum teams, ensuring predictable delivery of software. You will participate in Agile planning, facilitate the Agile process, support delivery teams, and provide advice and guidance. You will work closely with product owners, development and testing teams to coach team members, eliminate barriers, and address challenges ensuring delivery of sprint goals.

Outcomes:

  • Prepare for and facilitates Agile planning sessions with Agile delivery teams and assists with prioritizing user stories
  • Capture team metrics, shares with team, and suggests new metrics
  • Agile Ceremony Facilitation
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint review meetings, retrospectives meetings, and other related meetings
  • Participate in sprint demonstrations
  • Remove impediments to the team’s ability to perform by working closely with Product Managers/Owners and support organizations
  • Mediate conflicts between development team’s goal of delivering high technical quality and product owner’s goal of delivering more features
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination, and fosters team collaboration and communication
  • Continuously seek to improve solution development processes and/or develop new approaches to achieving improvement
  • Interact with other Agile Leads and engineering leaders to coordinate and provide metrics gathering
  • Mentor team members on Agile best practices

Requirements:

  • Experience in an Agile software development environment leading Scrum teams
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM 1)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
