Catalyst @ Health 2.0 Program Associate 

This junior position is a perfect opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to build transferable skills and learn about the healthcare/health tech industry.

About Catalyst @ Health 2.0

Health 2.0 was founded in 2007 to bring together health technology leaders through international conferences and events. Catalyst @ Health 2.0 was developed in 2011 to further the mission of the conference division by actively connecting startups with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurer groups and more for potential partnerships and mentorship. Catalyst produces commercialization programs such as pilot programs, strategic matchmaking and innovation competitions (or 'challenges') in which multidisciplinary teams boldly tackle the most complex issues in healthcare. Through these programs, successful participants win funding, guidance and tools to grow their companies. Catalyst @ Health 2.0 partners with private, non-profit and government organizations such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Department of Health and Human Services, Pfizer, the World Bank, etc.

Program Associate 

Help us to create a marketplace for innovators, startups and healthcare organizations looking to work together to improve health and healthcare through leading tech innovations.


Responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Executing projects from end-to-end, including concept development, sourcing the project, planning and coordinating logistics, recruiting applicants and judges, identifying resources and potential partners, and publicizing program winners.

  • Marketing: Creating engaging content (social media, graphics, etc.) to promote Catalyst programs and initiatives to prospective clients and members of our innovation community.

  • Client Interaction: Working directly with clients in order to manage all aspects of a project, reporting on project stats/progress, providing ongoing support, sharing expertise and guidance, answering questions, etc.

  • Writing: Developing content for press releases, blog posts announcing program milestones, and program websites.

  • Event Support: Coordinating the curation of content for live events and supporting logistics associated with Catalyst programs.


Qualifications: This is a position for a new college graduate, or someone with 1-2 years of work experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic excellence

  • Demonstrated interest and involvement in healthcare and technology

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer skills (Google Docs, Microsoft Office, internet research) and willingness/ability to learn other communication and project management platforms that the Catalyst team utilizes (Slack, Canva, Squarespace, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, active listener, and a team player

  • Creative problem-solving ability
