Job Description

Marketing Manager (Remote) 

Health 2.0 is seeking an experienced direct response marketer to assist with its marketing and audience development strategy for its conference and editorial business. The position can be remote.

The Marketing Manager, who will report directly to the Conference Director, will work on implementing email marketing campaigns, executing social media initiatives, building marketing partnerships, increasing the brand’s reach through audience development tactics, and managing the Health2con website and its email system provider. The manager will also assist the sales and production team in developing marketing collateral as well as managing the company’s marketing calendar.  

Specific day-to-day duties include:

•Working with our email deployment system to:
    oSet up and deploy email campaigns  
    oDownload open/clicks to provide lead generation files for sales
    oProduce weekly campaign summary reports  
    oReport on weekly delegate registrations based on campaigns  
•Execute social media campaigns including Twitter and Linkedin  
•Manage Linkedin Company/Group page
•Grow database for marketing outreach  
•Work with Graphic Designer to create email and website banners  
•Updating Health2con content  
•Managing marketing/association partnerships  

Requirements for the position include: 

•A bachelors degree  
•Two years of direct response marketing experience  
•Experience in working with an Email Service Provider  
•Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•Experience of social media tools  
•Experience / understanding of HTML code would be preferred  
•An eye for detail and multi-tasking skills
•Strong interest in health care and health technology
•Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, where the team is distributed globally
•Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
