Conference Sales Coordinator

Health 2.0 is looking for a smart, talented and driven individual to help accelerate the growth of our expanding conference and events business. The right individual will have the ability to work independently, love the thrill of a challenge and thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment. The sales coordinator, who will report to the Sales Director, will be responsible for business development in terms of sponsorships as well as increasing delegate revenue for our conference and events business.

Specific day-to-day duties include:

•40 outbound calls/emails per day  
•Contact delegate prospects for conference ticket sales  
•Research prospective companies and set up meetings
•Work with Marketing to implement sale campaigns for conferences and newsletters

Qualifications for Conference Sales Coordinator:

•Must possess strong web skills - (Experience with sales CRM software)
•Highly motivated, positive attitude, results oriented, persuasive, assertive
•Must be able to work flexible hours which may include an occasional weekend trip
•Must be energetic, outgoing, tenacious, goal oriented and a natural closer
•Proven customer service and strong phone skills
•Excellent oral/written communication skills
•Experience in health care a plus 

Requirements for the position include:

Ideal candidates will have at least a year of relative work experience.  College degree required. If you believe you have the requisite skills, tenacity, and drive to be successful in this sales role, or you can demonstrate that you could be easily trained to learn the above, we would be open to talking with you.
