The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Sr SDET Engineer/Lead with expertise in Cypress to join our dynamic team on a W2 basis. In this role, you will take ownership of quality assurance practices while leading a team of engineers in developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality standards and collaborate on enhancing our testing methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
• Lead the testing strategy and execution, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across applications.
• Mentor and guide fellow team members on best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test cases.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues to enhance software quality.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Cypress for end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in writing automated test cases and performance testing scripts.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with other testing frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, or Mocha.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Background in Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.
