Network Engineer : W2 role

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our talented team on a W2 basis. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. As a key member of Haramain Systems Inc., you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and execute network strategies that meet business needs.
• Ensure network security by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for compliance and training purposes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and security practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly advantageous.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
• Knowledge of VoIP and Unified Communications technologies.
• Experience with SD-WAN and other advanced networking solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
