Must have hands-on experience with Blue Yonder modules and a proven track record of working with retail clients.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on integration testing in complex grocery retail environments, specifically involving Blue Yonder (JDA) systems. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and seamless data and workflow integration across core retail systems including merchandising, inventory, demand planning, replenishment, supply chain, and finance. Lead and execute integration test efforts between Blue Yonder, FMS, POS, Data Lakes, and AS400 validating that end-to-end retail operations function as expected from order to shelf to financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and implement detailed integration test plans for Blue Yonder modules such as Demand, Fulfillment, Replenishment, Space Planning, and Category Management.
· Validate data exchange between Blue Yonder and systems such as AS400, LOC, FMS, INMAR and Data Lakes.
· Ensure synchronization of inventory, forecast, and replenishment data across systems and validate data integrity from upstream (e.g., merchandising) to downstream (e.g., accounting, reporting).
· Conduct interface testing (batch, real-time, API, and message queue-based), ensuring all inputs/outputs, schedules, and failure scenarios are tested.
· Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate ETL jobs and data pipelines involving Blue Yonder integration points.
· Develop and maintain integration test cases, data scenarios, and expected results for end-to-end process validation (e.g., promotion lifecycle, allocation planning, demand forecasting).
· Collaborate with functional and technical teams including Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and IT to understand system workflows and integration points.
· Work with solution architects to validate system designs and data mappings across integrated environments.
· Support UAT efforts by creating traceability from business requirements to integration test results.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
- 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in grocery retail or consumer goods.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience testing Blue Yonder (JDA) systems or other advanced supply chain planning tools.
- Strong understanding of grocery retail operations including inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain execution.
- Experience validating data pipelines, ETL jobs.
- Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of integration testing concepts, including data synchronization, process orchestration, exception handling, and reconciliation.
- Proficient in SQL for complex data validation across systems.
- Solid understanding of QA best practices in Agile and DevOps environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with Blue Yonder Demand, Fulfillment, or Space Planning modules.
- Extensive experience with integration testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data lakes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
