Role: Finance Systems Analyst Sr (Oracle EPM Cloud)

Job Type: 6+months Contract

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Financial Systems Analyst Sr plays an important role in maintaining, designing, developing, and implementing systems for use within the Finance Department. This position evaluates business requirements and provides specification for new or modified software systems enhancements, patches and/or integration solutions. Conducts and analyzes business and information technology processes and documentation and prepares essential discovery work. Participates in the definition, testing, training, implementation and support of system changes and upgrades. Identifies requirements, develops and/or reviews test plans, tracks and documents the development and results of these plans. Alerts project team members and leaders to potential risks and issues of importance. Solicits requirements through interview, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.

Requirements:

Support business users, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Finance Systems including, but not limited to, Oracle EPM Cloud (Planning, Free Form, and ARCS) including data integrations, configurations, and business rules.

Participates in systems requirements, definition, testing, training, implementation, and support.

Document procedures and write training documents.

Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools.

Work from high-level or detailed requirements, to design, develop, test, and implement a variety of operational and analytical financial systems.

Adheres to process guidelines, policies, and standards.

Lead research, identify, and analyze the requirements of business users.

Makes recommendations for necessary changes on projects that come in from other departments or software vendors.

Develops test schedules, reviews testing plans, tracks, and documents development results.

Conduct financial system training.

Monitor software performance on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.

Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.

Work with team for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of issues

Creates, modifies, maintains, and schedules procedures and reports.

Identifies areas of potential business risk and communicates these to the Project Team members and Leaders.
