- Monitor and troubleshoot storage usage and disk space issues on Linux systems.
- Assist in code reviews, testing, and debugging software applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Interest in robotics systems would be beneficial
What You Will Be Doing:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Software Developer with foundational skills in Python and a working knowledge of the Linux environment. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and maintaining software tools, automating tasks, and managing storage-related issues on Linux-based systems. You will work closely with senior developers and system administrators to support operational efficiency and application development. This position is open to students on summer break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine tasks and support internal tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage usage and disk space issues on Linux systems.
- Assist in code reviews, testing, and debugging software applications.
- Collaborate with team members to develop efficient, scalable solutions.
- Deployment of software to robotics systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Basic understanding of Linux command-line tools and file system management, including bash scripting.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Interest in robotics systems would be beneficial given the responsibility of deploying software to such systems
