Data Scientist : W2 role

Job Title: Data Scientist – AI/ML/NLP/GenAI
Location: Lexington, MA (Hybrid: 2–3 Days Onsite/Week)
Employment Type: Contract to hire , W2 Only
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship Required

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to support cutting-edge research and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and optimize AI/ML/NLP/GenAI solutions
• Develop and deploy scalable models and algorithms for real-world applications
• Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and drive innovation
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of model development—from data preprocessing to production deployment
• Stay current with emerging technologies and research trends in data science and AI

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in AI/ML/NLP/GenAI development and deployment
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work onsite in Lexington, MA 2–3 days per week
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Experience working in R&D or government-supported environments
• Familiarity with LLMs and GenAI architectures
