Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with AWS/Azure expertise to design and implement security solutions that protect cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cloud security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards while working in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures on AWS/Azure.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to integrate security solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
• Lead incident response and security audits to mitigate risks.
• Implement IAM (Identity and Access Management) and network security controls.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and security technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Expertise in AWS security services (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and zero-trust architecture.
• Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with automated security testing.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid role with on-site presence in Dallas, TX.
