Job Summary

The role of the Marketing and Communications position is to manage cross-functional projects in a rapidly changing environment for the company and its various business units.  The role will work directly with the President and Chief Executive Officer, while under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing and Communications.  The position will interact with other executive team members, leading production of detailed and lengthy written communications, including ghost writing papers, reports, directives, scripts, memorandums, letters, and other written messaging.  The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual who is highly knowledgeable in traditional, digital and social media for marketing campaigns, web site production experience, graphics and arts skills, and excellent oratory skills.  The position will be the main content contributor for Global SportsMall Realty, Copa Real Soccer, Copa Innovation Laboratories, Copa Productions, Enterprise Restaurant Group, and other sports ventures that are under confidential development.

The Company

Hall Equities Group is a privately held management firm located in well-appointed and easily accessible offices in downtown Walnut Creek. Our company is entrepreneurial, team-oriented, and high energy.   The firm consists of several management companies.  Our property management company oversees a diversified portfolio of client-owned real estate properties, including holdings in the Retail, Multi-Family Residential, Office, and Industrial markets.  Separately, we have a hospitality management company (ZMC Hotels) which operates a high-growth chain of hotels across the United States.  Finally, our newest venture involves the management of a sports complex which provides specialty high-performance athletic training. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on production of detailed and lengthy written communications, including ghost writing papers, reports, directives, scripts, memorandums, letters, and other written messaging.

  • Arrange, produce, and assist in creating and presenting messaging via Power Point and other media communication tools.

  • Candidate would be tasked with assisting any other marketing or communication need throughout the enterprise, or other necessary needs as they may be identified by company leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in marketing and communications public, 3-5 years-experience ideally.

  • The ideal candidate will be warm, gracious, and helpful, very sharp, assertive, an excellent communicator, reliable, discreet, and trustworthy of the most confidential of information flow.

  • A legal and / or sports background would be helpful in this area of responsibility.

  • The ability to record accurately detailed business instructions and communications, and broadcast or deliver communications of all types through appropriate and pre-discussed individuals and distribution channels.

  • Handle communications and events with all investment and business partners, and others. This role will be closely coordinated with the Executive VP, Chief Administrative Officer, whose oversight includes Client communications.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to be of service on a schedule in harmony with the calendar and work ethic of the President and Chief Executive Officer at a maximum, and full-time employment at a minimum.
