This is an exciting opportunity to join a leader in property management and hotel management. Hall Equities Group is a small, private family business with over 50 years of experience, with diversified holdings in 16 states, ranging from hotels to waterparks, to industrial complexes, self-storage, shopping centers, and apartment buildings. As part of the Hall Equities Group portfolio, Britton Parkway is a new multi-family project located in the Hawks Prairie neighborhood in Lacey, Washington. This will be a 192-unit complex with studio, one, two, and three bedroom units. We are looking for an experienced Seasonal Leasing Agent with a possibility of a permanent position. The Seasonal Leasing Agent is the property’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned property and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons.

JOB DESCRIPTION: A seasonal leasing agent is very service oriented and strives to make current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Leasing by effectively utilizing advertising, promotional, and customer relation skills as approved by management. Know and present the features and benefits of the property at all times. Develop and maintain positive tenant relations by providing outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving any customer issues in a professional and timely manner. Must have complete knowledge of Fair Housing Compliance laws or attend Fair Housing Training within the first 90 days of employment. Must have complete knowledge of lease contract, application and other addenda. Must have complete knowledge of Hall Equities Group policy and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Operations Manual. Maintain a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents meet. Inspect models and make ready vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness. Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call whether it is a prospect call, irate resident, service request, etc. Greet prospective residents, qualify and determine their needs and preferences, professionally present the community and specific apartment (s) while pointing out features and benefits.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Maintain good leasing and closing skills, being and staying organized, possessing basic computer skills and a good overall attitude. Eager to grow and advance your career in multi-family rental income management. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational skills and effective interpersonal relationship skills. Speed, efficiency, the ability to multi-task multiple projects, and work under a deadline. Must have an aptitude for sales and customer service.
