The Company

Hall Equities Group is a privately held management firm located in well-appointed and easily accessible offices in downtown Walnut Creek. Our company is entrepreneurial, team-oriented, and high energy.   The firm consists of several management companies.  Our property management company oversees a diversified portfolio of client-owned real estate properties, including holdings in the Retail, Multi-Family Residential, Office, and Industrial markets.  Separately, we have a hospitality management company (ZMC Hotels) which operates a high-growth chain of hotels across the United States.  Finally, our newest venture involves the management of a sports complex which provides specialty high-performance athletic training. 

Brand Creative & Graphic Design Manager

The designer works directly with the marketing team to ensure all aspects of branding assignments are designed, managed and produced according to our high creative standards. This position carries the primary responsibility of producing high-end, engaging corporate brand identity pieces including logo design, website design, literature design, presentations and digital assignments for a variety of new business ventures and real estate developments. The designer is expected to learn and develop a basic understanding of each of the internal client’s line of businesses so they are best able to support their needs.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be a multi-faceted designer with experience and knowledge designing materials for print and web.

  • Be a self-starter, able to work with and without supervision and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  • Work effectively under pressure, take criticism well and be motived to produce the best possible results.

  • Be extremely detail-oriented/organized, tuned to details and catching errors.

  • Bring progress to the creative and design side of marketing operations.

  • Be a skilled communicator and presenter.

  • Have a confident, positive, upbeat, and friendly “can do” approach to work.


  • Creative Leadership – Ability to express visually and verbally a creative concept and direction to senior leadership.

  • Brand Development – Able to provide a creative visual representation in the form of logo design, website layout, signage, brochures, online ads, etc. for:

    • A potential new business venture with products and services

    • A new apartment community, retail shopping center or commercial/business park

    • An entirely new concept of real estate development/community

  • Website Development - Experience working with WordPress and other content management platforms to design, develop and maintain websites

  • Experience working with and managing print vendors, photographers, videographers and digital rendering artists

  • Knowledge and experience applying for Trademarks a plus

  • Experience working on packaging and equipment design a plus

Education/Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Graphic Design/Communications

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat (Muse a plus)

  • Advanced knowledge with WordPress

  • Intermediate skills with basic CSS and HTML

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint

  • General working knowledge of domain/hosting providers such as Bluehost, Go Daddy, etc.
