WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a proven ability to scale HR functions in high-growth environments (preferably at a start-up or rapidly expanding company).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and implement people strategies that foster innovation, employee satisfaction, and high performance.
- Experience influencing senior leadership on organizational design, talent decisions, and key HR initiatives.
- Strong track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, from board members to individual contributors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining an innovative and flexible mindset.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Talent Acquisition: Maintain and optimize recruiting processes to ensure speed and quality; identify effective sourcing channels; manage both internal and external recruiters; build strong partnerships with hiring managers; deliver exceptional candidate experiences at every stage.
People Strategy & Innovation: Maintain and evolve people strategies to align with company goals, fostering a dynamic work environment. Innovate HR practices as needed to support organizational growth and ensure alignment with business objectives and culture.
HR Operations Management: Oversee and streamline day-to-day HR operations, including performance management, benefits administration, employee engagement, and HR technology systems. Ensure smooth HR operations that support business objectives while fostering a positive work culture.
Employee Experience & Engagement: Champion the company culture by maintaining a pulse on employee sentiment, measuring cultural health, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Drive employee engagement programs, including rewards and recognition initiatives, company-wide social events, and team-building activities. Ensure a supportive work environment through oversight of facilities and office dynamics.
Employee Effectiveness & Growth: Maintain initiatives related to learning and development programs and employee growth. Provide guidance on performance reviews and feedback processes to ensure employees are equipped with the tools to succeed and develop their careers.
Compensation Strategy: Maintain and implement a competitive compensation strategy, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Conduct regular benchmarking to stay competitive and manage variable compensation programs.
People Operations: Oversee new hire orientation, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, and offboarding processes for both voluntary and involuntary terminations. Ensure a seamless employee lifecycle experience from onboarding to exit.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, advising management on legal requirements. Develop and maintain policies to safeguard the organization against legal risks while promoting a fair, equitable work environment.
Leadership & Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, talent assessments, promotions, and terminations. Provide guidance on key HR decisions to support business goals and ensure optimal organizational performance.
